"I am very excited about Jail and I am sure so are you…”
"Jail is a film where even on the sets I felt at home. Since it was my second film with Bhandarkar production house, everyone knew me and exactly what I want. The crew were extremely caring and helped me build a comfort zone of my own within the sets.
I just saw the first look of Jail and was quite ecstatic as I couldn’t believe seeing myself with hardly any make-up on screen and still my look as come out really well. Throughout the film you will see me in Indian attire. I carry a girl next door look quite in contrast to my glamorous look in ‘Fashion’.
I have mostly worn salwaar kameeze and kurtis with denims, something that I personally don’t wear. Let’s hope people like me in my new look.
The sets of Jail were so realistic that I almost felt I was in an actual Indian Jail. Since I have never been to an Indian Jail, I was wondering if it looks exactly like that. I asked Madhur Sir if this is what a real Jail looks like and after he confirmed I was very sad, once you see the film you will know exactly what I am talking about.
Since you all are aware that Madhur sir’s movies are very life like, the kind of junior artist that he brought to the sets looked really scary, I almost thought they were real criminals.
The film speaks the truth behind our Indian prisons and gives a clear picture of the brutal reality behind the bars. Everyone has worked really hard, Neil’s performance is outstanding and we can hardly wait for the release."
